Environmental Communication Beyond Boundaries: Transnational, International, and Comparative Approaches to Understanding Environmental Issues

This pre-conference to the International Communication Association brings together scholars from around the world to share research related to transnational and international aspects of environmental communication. May 24, 2019, 9 am – 5 pm, George Washington University School of Public Health, Washington, DC.

ISF will be presenting a paper on "Imagining Sustainable Futures in Media and Popular Culture: Transnational Production and Consumption of Socio-Ecological Transition Narratives." The paper will be presented by Jeffrey Barber, President of ISF, and Rajat Chaudhuri, Calcutta-based author of the recently published speculative novel, The Butterfly Effect.
