Susan Fattig

Board Chair

Susan Fattig was raised on a working farm in Nebraska, where sustainability was a way of life. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nebraska - Kearney (then Kearney State College) and received a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where she attended Notre Dame London Law Centre her second year.

Ms. Fattig is an attorney who has represented individuals in product liability cases involving child safety seats and pharmaceutical products. She has also worked on health care, intellectual property, antitrust, election law, and other matters for corporate and nonprofit clients.

Ms. Fattig currently serves on the five-member village council of Martin’s Additions, an incorporated municipality of approximately 325 homes in Montgomery County, Maryland. She was appointed to a vacancy in 2015 and subsequently elected to two-year terms in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Ms. Fattig is Chair of the ISF board of directors and has served on the ISF board of directors since 2013.
